Black Mt.

This crumbling pueblo atop Black Mt., east of the community of Rye, has a half-dozen or so easily recognizable rooms. The Salado occupied the site in the 13th century. It's not the largest ruin in the world, but the climb up Black Mt. is kinda fun and the summit offers great views in all directions.

From this ancient stone room, one gets a nice view of the distant
Mazatzal Mts., which at this time happen to be capped with snow.

More crumbling stone rooms on the mountain slopes.
