Roger's Canyon

A pleasant hike down Roger's Canyon in the Superstition Mts. leads to this Salado cliff dwelling. Although the rooms in these photos are nicely preserved, they represent only a small part of the original dwelling, which 600 years ago had more than 65 rooms.

The ruin is tucked into a "cave." This is the view from the back
of the cave (the light comes from a couple of flashes)

The view from the cave's entrance, looking in.
Note the ballcap near the doorway for size reference.

A separate, smaller room.
