Snake Gulch |
||
Located north of the Grand Canyon in the "Arizona Strip," Snake Gulch contains one of the finest collections of prehistoric pictographs on the Colorado Plateau. The rock art was made over a period of 15 centuries by local Archaic, Basketmaker, Ancestral Pueblo, and Fremont cultures. This is an all-new chapter that was not included in the first edition of my book. And even the second edition has only one photograph. Here's that photo plus a few others you won't see in print. |
