Picacho Mts.

There are more than 4,000 petroglyphs in the Picacho Mts. Most, like the sheep and "butterfly" design below, were made by the Hohokam during the 12th and 13th centuries, but rock art was also left in the Picachos by archaic Indians who came before the Hohokam and the Pimas who came after.
