Wild Horse Canyon
I discovered this cliff dwelling in Wild Horse Canyon, a tributary of Canyon Creek, while searching for the Canyon Creek Cliff Dwelling. I was waaaaaay off target, but it's always exciting to come across an ancient ruin you weren't even looking for, even if it's not very big. I don't know anything about this site and didn't include it in my book because it's just too small. Wild Horse Canyon, by the way, actually has horses in it. However, the animals are hardly wild, and if you give them apples they become devoted hiking partners for the rest of your trip.
